Gala Life and More
It's been quite the eventful weekend/start of the week. I feel like I've been running a million miles per hour yet I haven't had time to squeeze in a run with all that has been going on. Saturday morning started with a candidates forum, the way I like spending my Saturday mornings! After that it was off to early vote, here's a bit of my ballot:
- Marco Rubio for President
- Joe Straus for State Representative
- Kevin Wolff for County Commissioner
Common sense hardworking conservatives.
After that, my young professionals group, LOOP, hosted our annual membership meeting at Blue Star Brewery. TJ and I were double booked for events that day so we showed up to Blue Star in black tie....you can imagine the looks we got as we entered the event.
Councilman Ron Nirenberg provided an opening address - urging members to get involved in ridesharing, SA Speak Up (the budget outreach) and SA Tomorrow.
After that, we attended the North East Educational Foundation Gala at the Omni Collonade. I ran into some amazing Latinas:
I had a pretty handsome date on my arm too:
Dress - Tadashi Shoji, Nordstrom
Evening Bag - Banana Republic
